Returns Policy

We hope that you will be pleased with your purchase from Cables and Stuff but in the unlikely event of goods needing to be returned we have established a returns procedure designed to cause you minimum inconvenience. Please note that our refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Reporting Faulty Items within 28 days of Receipt

If you receive an item from us which is faulty and you inform us of this within 28 days of receipt we will refund you or send you a replacement, once you have returned the items to us complete in the original packaging with all accessories and documentation.

Items Damaged In Transit

If any items were damaged in transit we ask that you report it to us within 7 days. If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, it is best to sign the delivery note accordingly. Once the damaged items have been received back to our warehouse, we will issue a replacement or full refund to you.

Reporting Faulty Items more than 28 days after Receipt

If a product you have purchased from us develops a fault and it is more than 28 days since receipt,­ then providing the item is still within warranty you will be entitled to warranty repair. It is often quicker to contact the manufacturer direct regarding this.

If you change your mind

If you are a private customer (please note this does not apply to business customers) and you have changed your mind about an item and wish to return it, please inform us of your decision within 10 days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be returned in a condition that would enable Cables and Stuff.com to resell them as new. Manufacturers seals and all packaging must not be broken or open. The cost of returning these items is the responsibility of the customer. Once we have received the items and providing they are in the condition we have specified above we will provide a full refund.

Guidelines for Packaging Faulty Items for Return

Please note that it is in the interest of all parties to ensure that any faulty items being returned to us are sufficiently packaged to protect against loss and/or damage during carriage, handling and/or sorting. If you intend to return any faulty items, we strongly recommend that you return them in their original packaging (assuming that the original packaging is not damaged).

If it is not possible to use the original packaging, then please ensure that the items to be returned are sufficiently packaged and cushioned to provide protection against any reasonably predictable shocks, puncturing, scratching and/or damage that may occur during carriage, handling and/or sorting.

Where we have agreed to collect the items from you, then our appointed carrier shall be entitled to inspect the quantity, condition and adequacy of the packaging, but it should be noted that it is your responsibility to ensure that sufficient packaging is used to protect the returned items as stated.

In the event that Cables and Stuff reasonably considers that the goods are damaged during carriage, handling and/or sorting due to insufficient or improper protective packaging by you, then we shall not be liable for any loss and/or damage to those good and shall be entitled to reject any goods that do not meet the criteria laid out above. If we have cause to reject any goods, then we shall return those goods to you.

Returns Procedure

Please follow the 3 simple steps below to return your item(s):-

  1. Email our Customer Services team regarding the item(s) that you wish to return and request a Returns Form and a returns number.
  2. Complete the Returns Form ensuring that you give the reason for the return (including a full description of the fault if the item is defective). If you require assistance with completing the form please contact our Customer Services Team.
  3. Please wrap the item securely in its original packaging (please see our packaging guidelines in our returns policy) with all warranty cards, licenses, manuals and accessories and clearly mark the external packaging with your returns number and send it to us at: -

Please note that we cannot accept returns if you deliver them to us by hand and that we recommend you send high value returns to us by recorded-delivery. Cables and Stuff cannot accept the return of items purchased from third-party sellers, such as at Marketplace, Auctions or zShops.

Note: In the event of Cables and Stuff sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or incorrect item, you must return the original item to Cables and Stuff within 28 days. Cables and Stuff reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement to the payment card used for the original order if the item is not returned within 28 days of the date on which Cables and Stuff confirms we will issue a replacement.
